Wild Beasts 'Two Dancers' Review

Wild Beasts 'Two Dancers' Review

Judging by the band name, we were half-expecting something a little snarly and mean-sounding, but Wild Beasts are anything but. The second album from this Cumbrian fur-piece is a romantic, quirky collection of memorable tunes, with some parts bordering on cabaret oddness - check out the falsetto yelps in ‘All The Kings Men’.

But although it won’t be to everyone’s taste, it’s actually quite brilliant, with some top, dreamy melodies floating throughout - sort of an arthouse Editors whacked out on bags of magical Kate Bush dust!
