When you're trying to put the s**ts up an audience, nothing does it better than a creepy child. Orphan is a terrifying new horror about a troubled young couple who adopt a young 'un following a miscarriage. However, when they take 'sweet Esther' from the local orphanage, they end up rearing someone who could be mistaken for the female version of Damien. Which means a lot of horrible things happen. And we don't mean listening to McFly too loud, although that is pretty horrible if you're walls are thin! Be afraid... Out at UK cinemas in early August 2009
